Rune Deck

You are a skald climbing the World Tree with nothing but a deck of rune cards.

Every turn you get 3 energy and draw 5 cards. Play attacks, blocks and curses, and read each foe's next move from the tag over its head before you commit.

SAGAS
A campaign of 36 fights across 4 realms: Midgard Pines, Jotun Fells, Niflheim Mire and Rime Crown. Every saga has three star goals, shown before the fight:
- Win the fight
- Win within a turn limit
- Finish with enough health left
Stars open the next realm, a new card joins your deck each level, and foes get tougher realm by realm.

ENDLESS CLIMB
A full roguelite run: 15 floors on a branching map of fights, elites, rest sites, the merchant, mystery events and treasure, with the Rimewarden waiting at the top. Rune Lore unlocks 6 Ascension levels for a harder climb each time.
