MetroGnome Garden

MetroGnome Garden is a metronome with a garden gnome in it. Why? Because metronomes are boring, and garden gnomes are not.

The gnome's name is MetroGnome, naturally. He lives in the MetroGnome Garden, keeps perfect time, and has very strong opinions about rushing the chorus.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT: real backing drums, not just a click.

Most metronome apps give you a click and nothing else. This one gives you a band. Turn on the drums and play along to nine styles, each with its own kit: Rock, Funk, Reggae, House, Techno, Bossa Nova, Salsa, Hip Hop, and Country. Every style has several pattern variations, from a plain groove up to fuller patterns, so you can keep it simple or give yourself something to lock into. The drums follow whatever time signature you pick, including the odd ones.

- Set any tempo from 20 to 260 BPM with a slide of your finger.
- Choose 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 9 beats per bar, including the odd meters musicians reach for when four is apparently not complicated enough.
- In plain click mode, every beat has its own control so you can build the exact accent pattern you need, and it remembers your setup.
- Not sure how fast a song is? Built-in song references across different time signatures set the tempo and meter for you.
- Two looks: MetroGnome hanging around in his garden, or a clean, tastefully boring classic metronome for when the Guild is watching.
- Keeps your screen awake. He does not quit mid-practice. He is a professional.
