EASY RIDER, LLC (“Easy Rider”) is a car-sharing for ride-sharing platform that offers drivers in New York City (“NYC”) the ability to rent Taxi and Limousine Commission (the “TLC”) licensed cars on a short to long-term subscription basis so they can earn income on ride-sharing platforms such as UBER and LYFT.

As a vehicle type, Easy Rider’s fleet is focused exclusively on renting Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (“WAV”) to professionally licensed full-time and part-time drivers.

As the most regulated and expensive city to own and operate a ride-sharing licensed vehicle in the United States, Easy Rider, offers drivers a hassle-free, low-cost, and flexible solution to access the flexible income-earning potential offered by ride-sharing platforms in New York.

Because drivers in NYC are restricted, according to TLC rules, to driving a maximum of 60 hours per week, the remaining 128 hours of unused driving time out of a total 168 hours per week are available to be rented to other drivers, therefore sharing the cost of owning and operating a vehicle in NYC.
In addition, the WAV vehicle class benefits from a long-term privileged status by NYC’s TLC authorities given that current regulations require the large ride-sharing platforms to make 25% of the cars registered on their platforms to be WAV vehicles.

NYC drivers will benefit from renting a WAV on Easy Rider's car-sharing platform in 3 ways:
1.) a driver’s earnings for driving a WAV are approximately 30% higher compared to driving a basic entry-level sedan on the ride-sharing platforms,
2.) the driver’s cost to rent Easy Rider’s WAV vehicles is significantly lower than what is currently available in NYC due to Easy Rider’s innovative car-sharing solution, and
3.) renting a WAV allows a driver in NYC to accept rides for 3 different vehicle classes offered by the ride-sharing platforms such as UBER and LYFT.

Finally, Easy Rider’s user and customer experience have been carefully designed around a driver’s unique challenges of operating a TLC-licensed vehicle in NYC to minimize the effort and cost of operating a vehicle in NYC.
