About PictoFy: pictograms & phrases
PictoFy turns words into pictograms and lets you build sentences by tapping them, to communicate, learn or support others.
BOARD (main screen)
• Vocabulary folders, each with its own color: basics, food, people, places, actions, feelings and questions.
• Tap pictograms to build the sentence and press “Speak” to hear it read aloud.
• Each pictogram's frame has the color of its word type (nouns, verbs, adjectives…), as in common communication boards.
WRITE
• Type words and see their pictograms instantly.
• If you don't like a picture, switch to another with the arrows.
• Hear what you type read aloud.
ALSO
• Pictograms are requested in the language you choose; the app is available in 9 languages (Spanish, English, Catalan, Galician, Basque, French, German, Italian and Portuguese).
• Quick tutorial, which you can repeat with the “?” button.
• Free and ad-free. No sign-up needed.
• An Internet connection is needed to show the pictograms.
PRIVACY
It asks for no accounts or personal data. It only sends anonymous usage data (which pictograms are shown) and error reports (app version, phone model and stack trace) to improve the app.
