Fusewell

Set the fuses. Let the blasts pull each other in.

Fusewell is a turn-based demolition puzzle. Drop a bomb into one of seven columns. After every drop, every fuse in the shaft ticks down by one. At zero a bomb blows a plus and breaks the crates around it. A bomb caught in a blast loses two ticks and may go off in the next wave, and chained blasts reach further: two cells, then three.

TIME YOUR CHAINS
• Every number is a countdown. Line bombs up so one blast sets off the next.
• Touch a column to see where the bomb lands, what it breaks this turn and which bombs it pulls.
• Iron plates take two hits. Powder kegs blow a 3×3.
• Turns that break debris build Heat, up to ×3 points.

KEEP THE SHAFT OPEN
• Debris rises from below on a fuse of its own. If it is pushed out of the mouth, the run is over.
• Keep one bomb in the Spare slot for later.
• Broken debris charges the Spark: light any bomb right now.

SURPRISES FROM THE DEEP
• Dynamite blasts its whole row or column.
• Frost charges freeze a whole line for three turns: frozen bombs stop counting and ice shields the debris.
• Break a ? crate for gold, a spark… or a cave-in.
• Quakes push up two rows at once. The rise bar warns you first.
