Beatpond

Hop the pond to live jazz.

A frog, a pond of lily pads and a jazz band that plays live on your phone. Tap the left or right half of the screen as the ring closes on the next pad, and the frog hops on the beat. Every hop adds a note to the music — play well and the music gets better.

ONE THUMB, REAL RHYTHM
• Tap the side of the next pad, right on the beat. Perfect or Good keeps you hopping.
• A miss — wrong side, off the beat, too late — costs one of three lives.
• The first two sets are a gentle warm-up where misses are free.

A BAND THAT GROWS WITH YOU
• Eight Perfects in a row bring in the next instrument: bass, piano, horn, sax, vibes — and raise your score multiplier.
• Unlock new instruments for Your band as your best score grows.
• The music is generated live, so no two runs sound the same.

A POND THAT KEEPS CHANGING
• The tempo climbs from 66 to 160 BPM, one set at a time.
• Every two sets a new scene: sunset, night, fog, rain, a firefly festival and dawn — each with its own groove and one twist to the rules.
• Each new scene opens with an ENCORE: triple points, and misses are free.
• Catch bubbles, JAM notes, spare pads and dragonflies on the way.

GOALS TO CONQUER
• A Setlist of goals — finish them to earn stars and raise your band from Busker to Legend.
• Beat your best score and your top tempo.
• Compare your best on the leaderboard.
