About Spot the Difference: No Timer

No ads. Take your time spotting all 5 differences!
Compare two pictures and tap what's different. Each puzzle has 5 differences, and there are 200 puzzles in all.
Note: No photos or hand-drawn art. Every picture is flat artwork made only from circles, squares, ovals, polygons, and lines.

■ Why we made this

Many reviews of spot-the-difference apps complain about a video ad after every puzzle. So this one has no ads at all, and one payment opens every picture.

■ No need to worry

▪ No need to worry about ads. There are none, before or after you buy! No videos, no close buttons to hunt for
▪ No need to worry about wrong answers. Each puzzle has just 5 differences and nothing else differs. All 200 were checked
▪ No need to worry about the clock. There's no time limit and no time-outs (your time only shows once you finish)
▪ No need to worry about waiting. No lives or energy that refill over time. Miss 5 times and the puzzle starts over on the spot, with no waiting, paying, or ads
▪ No need to worry about side games. It's spot the difference, nothing else! You don't have to collect items or energy in a side game to move on. We'll never add timers or item collecting later
▪ No need to worry that zooming counts as a miss. Pinching or moving the picture never does
▪ No need to worry about hitting a wall after a few puzzles. Play the first 20 all the way through without buying anything
▪ No need to worry about monthly charges. There's just one purchase, one-time, not a subscription. No hints, continues, or single puzzles to buy
▪ No need to worry about being pushed to buy when you're stuck. The price shows in just two places: after you finish all of the first 20 (you can choose Later), and when you tap a locked puzzle. Never while you're searching, after a miss or restart, with a hint, or when you skip ahead

■ How to play

▪ Compare the two pictures and tap where they differ
▪ Each find gets a mark and adds to the counter, which only counts real finds
▪ Tapping where nothing differs gives a miss mark. After 5 misses, the puzzle starts over right away
▪ Stuck? Move on. Your finds are kept, so you can carry on later
▪ Hints: a box marks the area around an unfound difference for 2 seconds. 2 per puzzle (restarting doesn't reset them). No ads, same whether you buy or not
▪ Pinch to zoom: both pictures zoom together, up to 3x
▪ Play solved puzzles again from the start, with the answers hidden
▪ Progress is saved with every tap, so you pick up where you left off. Updates, long breaks, or a crash won't erase it or your purchase

■ The pictures

▪ No photos, hand-drawn art, emoji, or pictures taken from elsewhere
▪ All 200 pictures are different, with no recolored or mirrored copies to pad the count
▪ Differences include color, shape, size, something missing, or something moved. The mix varies by puzzle
▪ Where only the color changes, the brightness changes too
▪ Differences have a set minimum size
▪ Pictures are built in, so you can play offline. If we add puzzles, they come through app updates

■ What's free, and what the purchase unlocks

Free: the first 20 puzzles to the end · hints · skipping ahead and coming back · starting over (as often as you like)
The one-time in-app purchase unlocks the other 180 (200 in all) the moment you buy
If we add puzzles later, buyers get them at no extra cost
New phone or reinstall? Purchases stay with your Google account, and progress returns if Android backup is on

■ What this app doesn't have

▪ A hard mode
▪ Accounts, leaderboards, or online play
▪ Share buttons
▪ Notifications or reminders

■ Your data

▪ No sign-up needed, and there's no server of our own
▪ In Japan, the US, Canada, and Australia, the app uses Firebase to count puzzles started and finished, restarts, hints used, and so on, to see which puzzles are too hard
▪ It goes online only to buy, send these counts, show the review prompt, or open links
