Netsource Sentinel OPNsense

Netsource Sentinel OPNsense is an independent Android companion for monitoring and managing OPNsense® firewalls. It is designed for network administrators, IT professionals, managed service providers (MSPs), homelab users and technical teams who want convenient mobile access to their firewall and network status.

Connect directly to your OPNsense firewall through its API and manage supported functions from a clean, mobile-friendly interface. No Netsource cloud account is required for the current public release.

DIRECT FIREWALL MANAGEMENT

Netsource Sentinel communicates directly with the OPNsense firewall configured by you. The firewall API must be reachable from your Android device, for example through your local network or a secure remote-access/VPN connection. Availability of individual functions depends on the OPNsense version, installed plugins and permissions assigned to the API user.

SECURITY

OPNsense API keys and secrets are stored locally using secure Android storage. We recommend using HTTPS and granting the API user only the permissions required for the functions you intend to use.
