Word Search Daily: Wordtide

Wordtide is a calm daily word search. A grid of letters hides a list of words: drag across the letters to find each one, and it locks under a coloured band. Every day brings a new Daily Grid with a calendar, and between days you can follow the 300-level Journey or start a quick grid in any theme. Everything works offline.

Every grid is built by a generator, not typed in by hand. It checks each board before you see it: every word on the list really is in there, exactly once, and the filler letters come from the letter frequencies of the language you play in. A grid never asks you to find something that is not there.

How to Play
1. Press a letter and drag to the end of the word. Words run in a straight line: across, down or diagonally, and from the eighth chapter onwards backwards as well.
2. A word you find locks under a coloured band and leaves the list below the grid.
3. One extra word is hidden in every grid and is not on the list. Finding that secret word pays coins.
4. Nothing is ever lost. A wrong drag simply fades, and the clock only records your time.

Thirteen Puzzle Languages
The words in the grid are written natively in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Arabic: a Spanish grid holds real Spanish words, not translated English ones. Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Arabic have 40 themes each. The first time you open Wordtide, the puzzle language follows your phone's language when it is one of the thirteen, and it is English otherwise. The app itself speaks 13 languages, and the app language and the puzzle language are set separately.

Your Own Pace
There is a clock, but the only things that depend on it are your own record and the third star. Take an hour over a 12x12 if you like. There is no way to lose a grid.
