Minetide is classic minesweeper that plays offline with no guessing: every board can be solved by logic from the first tap, with no 50/50 corners and no game lost to blind luck. The first tap is always safe, and hints explain why a cell is safe. Most minesweeper apps can end a game on a blind guess; Minetide's logic solver throws away any board that would need one and builds a new one.

How to Play Minesweeper
Minetide keeps the classic rules, so there is nothing new to learn. First time? A one-minute lesson on a tiny board comes first.
1. Tap a cell to reveal it. A number shows how many of its eight neighbours hide a mine.
2. Long-press a cell to flag a mine, or switch the Reveal / Flag toggle and play with one thumb.
3. Tap a number whose mines are all flagged to open the rest of its neighbours at once. A wrong flag there sets off a mine, just as in classic minesweeper.
4. Open every safe cell to clear the board. Pinch to zoom on the big boards.
