Kusalam

Turn any spare Android phone into a simple, one-tap video calling device for grandparents and seniors. Kusalam keeps the whole family connected without the frustration of complex menus, hidden settings, or confusing notifications.
It can optionally become a Launcher (Home screen) to hide complex apps and make android much easier to use.

For Parents & Grandparents (The Dedicated Device)

1. One-Tap Calling: Opens directly to large family photo tiles. No swiping, no accounts, and no lost menus.

2. Senior-Friendly Controls: Answer directly from the lock screen, enable auto-answer, or simply flip the phone face-down to silence a ring.

3. Customizable Simplicity: Choose from three comfort levels, from basic "big buttons only" to full control.

4. Optimized for Old Phones: Automatically brightens dim rooms and runs smoothly on older, repurposed Android hardware.

For the Rest of the Family

5. Stay in the Loop: Use the exact same app on your daily phone to see who is online, view daily talk time, and get gentle nudges when a family room opens.

6. 100% Private & Ad-Free: Requires zero phone numbers. No ads, no background tracking. Available in English and 9 Indian languages.

7. iPhone Compatible: Apple users can seamlessly join the family network via Safari (no App Store download needed). Just save the invite link to your Home Screen to make calls, receive notification alerts, and see family history.

Note: While iPhones can easily join and make family calls via the web app, setting up a dedicated, always-on "simple device" requires an Android phone.
