About PDF to EPUB Converter
PDF to EPUB Converter turns a PDF into an e-book for Kindle, Kobo, Moon+ Reader, Google Play Books and other reading apps. Convert PDF to EPUB, or export MOBI or AZW3 for Kindle.
Choose the PDF on your phone, the format and a device profile. Conversion runs on a server, so the phone does not do that work. The PDF is sent to the server for the conversion. Files up to 150 MB are accepted.
EPUB works on Kindle, Kobo, Moon+ Reader, Google Play Books and most reading apps. It is the usual choice when you want text that reflows on a phone or an e-reader. MOBI is for older Kindle devices bought before 2022. AZW3 is for current Kindle devices and the Kindle app. A PDF to Kindle file is EPUB, MOBI or AZW3, depending on the device.
Profiles are Generic, Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite and Kobo. The profile sets the formatting for that reader. Start with Generic if you are not sure which device will open the book. Use Kindle or Kindle Paperwhite for those screens. Use Kobo for a Kobo reader.
Text cleanup removes headers, footers and words split across lines, including in scanned books and complex layouts. Italics and bold can be kept.
Before you export, set the title, the author and the language. If you leave the author empty and the PDF already has one, that author is used. The language sets text direction and hyphenation, including Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The cover can be the first page of the PDF or a picture from your gallery. A page range converts only the chapters you need.
You get 7 conversions free each week. A short rewarded video unlocks one more. The app contains ads. Premium is an optional subscription: it removes the ads and the weekly limit. The 150 MB file limit still applies.
The finished file is saved on the phone. Open it in the reader you already use. If you leave during a conversion, it continues when you come back. Conversion goes one way: PDF to EPUB, PDF to MOBI or PDF to AZW3.
