PHOTO STATUSES
Newer versions of WhatsApp keep viewed video statuses in the status folder, but may store photo statuses with your other WhatsApp images. Video statuses appear automatically; for a photo status, use Saved › More › Import media and pick it from WhatsApp Images.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All Status Saver reads only the folder you choose through the Android folder picker, or the files you pick yourself. Your photos and videos stay on your phone and are never uploaded.

Viewing, saving and sharing are free. The app shows ads; you can remove them forever with a one-time purchase, or watch a short video to go ad-free for 2 hours.

Note: the app can only save statuses that are still on your device, and cannot download statuses you have not viewed.
