Hubwald: Family & Childcare

Hubwald is a private, invite-only household hub built for one family at a time — your family, and whoever helps run it day to day, whether that's a co-parent, a nanny, or an au pair.

It merges your family's real Google Calendar with everything a calendar alone doesn't cover: cars, recurring household routines, shared contacts, meal planning, a running grocery list, kids' medical and reference info, and childcare or au pair scheduling.

WHY HUBWALD, NOT JUST A CALENDAR APP
Most family apps are either a bare calendar or a generic project-management tool with a family-shaped coat of paint. Hubwald is built specifically around having a caregiver in the loop — every feature assumes someone besides the two parents needs to know what's going on today.

KEY FEATURES
• One merged calendar — real Google Calendar events, household routines, and your nanny's or au pair's schedule, all in one place
• Childcare & au pair scheduling — Childcare mode for a nanny or sitter with no legal hour limits, or Au Pair mode with weekly hour tracking and J-1 program rule warnings (never blocking, just informed)
• Kids' reference info, always current — allergies, doctor, and insurance info kept in one place any caregiver can actually find
• Shared, tap-to-call contacts — the pediatrician, "call Dad first," 911, reachable without asking who to call
• Reusable checklists — a packing list, a morning routine, anything that repeats, attached to any event instead of re-typed every week
• Bilingual by default — pick any two languages at setup; every note, contact, and profile field auto-translates as you type
• Sitter Request — preload a babysitter roster and post one-off jobs by text; sitters reply yes/no, and a confirmed booking lands right on your family calendar
• Vacation days, tracked and approved — set a caregiver's paid days off, they request dates, you approve with one tap, and the app won't let anyone schedule over an approved vacation
• Pay & Stipend — log every caregiver payment and export a year's history at tax time
• A real AI assistant — ask about tonight's dinner or this week's schedule, and it can add, change, or remove things for you, always showing what it's about to do before it does it
