Landlines is an independent application published by HMB Software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or operated by any government agency, and it does not represent any government entity or provide government services.

DATA SOURCES
The government information in this app — property parcel boundaries and parcel IDs, and where published, public-record owner name, mailing address, and last-sale details — comes from official government open-data sources: state GIS programs and county/municipal assessor, appraiser, and GIS offices. In a few states the state-designated clearinghouse is hosted by a university partner (clearly labeled). The official source for every state we cover is listed, with links, here:

Inside the app, each parcel's detail screen also names the exact government source that record came from.

Availability, accuracy, completeness, and update frequency vary by jurisdiction. This information is public record, published by those agencies "as is," and may be incomplete or out of date. Landlines is an informational reference tool, not a legal survey or a substitute for a title search — verify with the applicable government agency before relying on it. GPS on a phone is accurate to roughly 3–10 meters, so "am I on the line?" is approximate, and coverage is partial.
