Worth the Run: Offer Evaluator

Worth the Run helps Instacart shoppers and DoorDash drivers decide faster whether a batch or delivery offer is worth accepting.

The moment a supported offer appears on screen, Worth the Run shows a small overlay card with your estimated hourly rate. Green means take it, red means skip it. No mental math, no switching apps.

HOW IT EVALUATES OFFERS
• Estimated $/hr based on drive time, shopping time, and delivery distance

• Optional return miles (adds a dead-mile estimate for a more conservative $/hr)

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE USE
Worth the Run uses Android's Accessibility Service API to read the offer details (pay, items, distance, store, and similar fields) that are visible on screen inside the Instacart Shopper and DoorDash Dasher apps. This is the only way for the app to calculate $/hr in real time as offers appear. Worth the Run does not perform actions on your behalf, does not accept or reject offers, does not interact with other apps' UI elements, and is never used for remote call or audio recording. You can disable the service at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.

PRIVACY
Offer details parsed from the gig apps are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded.

Location is used to estimate distance and drive time from your current position to the Instacart pickup store. To do this, your current GPS coordinates are sent over HTTPS to our geocoding and routing proxy (a Cloudflare Worker that calls Mapbox). Coordinates are not retained on our servers, are not linked to any user identifier, and are not shared with any third party other than Mapbox for the lookup itself. You can deny the location permission at any time and the app will still work — only store-distance will be unavailable.

Worth the Run does not accept, reject, or complete offers on your behalf. It does not control other apps or perform actions for you. The final decision is always yours.
