# Brainrot Limit — Stop Endless Scrolling

Short videos are easy to watch and hard to stop. Brainrot Limit helps you become more aware of your scrolling habits by counting short-form videos and helping you stop when you reach your limit.

## Take control of your scrolling

**📊 Count the videos you watch**
Track short-form video consumption in supported apps, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other supported feeds.

**🎯 Set your own limit**
Choose how many videos you want to watch before it's time to stop.

**⏳ Interrupt endless scrolling**
When you reach your limit, Brainrot Limit can interrupt access to short-form content to help you stick to your goal.

**🧠 Build more intentional habits**
Spend less time scrolling automatically and more time doing what matters to you.

## Why does Brainrot Limit need special permissions?

Brainrot Limit uses certain Android permissions to detect short-form video activity and enforce your chosen limits.

**Accessibility Service**
Used to detect supported short-form video screens and video transitions so the app can count videos and determine when your limit is reached. This access is also used to help enforce your limit.

**Display over other apps**
Allows Brainrot Limit to display its counting overlay and, where required, show a blocking screen over other apps when you reach your limit.

Android may ask you to enable these permissions manually in system settings. Some features will not work unless their required permissions are enabled.

## Start with a small goal

You don't need to quit short-form videos completely. Start by setting a reasonable limit, notice your habits, and make your scrolling more intentional.

**Brainrot Limit — Watch with intention. Stop when it's time.**
