About Focus Modes

Focus Modes turns your Android into different setups for different parts of your day.

Work cleaner. Sleep quieter. Study deeper. Train lighter. Build a phone that changes around what you are doing, instead of dragging the same noisy setup through every moment.

Premium, ad-free, and built to preserve your attention.

• Full phone setup control

Build Phone Setups

Create a different phone setup for each context. Choose what stays close, what moves out of reach, and when each mode turns on.

Start with common setups like these, or create your own from scratch:

• Work: keep essentials nearby and move distractions out of reach.
• Sleep: make nights quieter with calmer apps, wallpaper, and notifications.
• Study: create a cleaner space for learning and deep focus.
• Morning: start the day with a calmer default.
• Gym: keep music and tracking close without bringing the whole phone.
• Home: separate downtime from work, alerts, and visual noise.

Switch Modes Automatically

Set up a mode once, then let Focus Modes turn it on when your day changes. Manual control is always available.

• Time: Work mode at 9am. Sleep mode at 10:30pm.
• Location: Gym mode when you arrive at the gym.
• Wi-Fi: Work or home mode when you connect to the right network.
• App or device state: start a setup when your context changes.

Control the Phone Environment

• Apps: show what matters and keep distractions out of the way.
• Home screen: use a different layout for each mode.
• Widgets: surface the right information at the right time.
• Wallpaper and style: make every setup feel distinct.
• Notifications: quiet noise while a mode is active.
• Strict Mode: add stronger boundaries when you want them.

For Focus, Screen Time, and Digital Wellbeing

Focus Modes works alongside Android Digital Wellbeing by changing the phone environment itself. Use it as a screen time companion, distraction-light launcher, or focus mode system when you want your phone to support what you are doing now.

Start with Your Default Setup

Shape your Default environment: the everyday phone setup you see when no focus mode is active. From there, each mode becomes a different version of your phone for a specific context.

Works Your Way

Use Focus Modes alongside your current launcher for app blocking, wallpaper changes, and automatic switching. Set it as your home screen for the full experience: per-mode layouts, widgets, app visibility, and a phone that changes around your day.

Private by Design

Focus Modes is built around on-device setup and automation. Your modes, triggers, and app choices are handled locally, and the app is designed without ads or attention tracking.

Accessibility Service (Optional)

Focus Modes can use Android's AccessibilityService for a small set of optional features:

• Detect when you open a blocked app so the app can show its blocking screen immediately
• Support the optional Double-tap to Sleep gesture
• Support the optional Open Recents gesture

Focus Modes does not use AccessibilityService for remote call audio recording.
Focus Modes does not read messages, typed text, or other personal on-screen content, and it does not collect or transmit personal data from accessibility events.

You can choose whether to enable this service, and you can disable it anytime in Android's Accessibility settings.
