Focus: Study Timer & Blocker

Focus is a calm Pomodoro study timer with an app blocker built in. Start a focus block, cover the apps that distract you, count down to your exams and study live with friends, with no account: your study history stays on your phone.

Block distractions, keep your stats honest
• App blocker: during a block, the apps you choose are covered by a calm screen, per subject if you like. Calls are never covered.
• Focus guard: leaving the app for more than ten seconds counts as an interruption, and your clean score shows how much of each block you really stayed with.
• Focus++: keep your phone face down; pick it up and the timer pauses.
• Do Not Disturb during blocks, a Quick Settings tile, and strict mode (Premium).

A Pomodoro timer for every study day
• Focus blocks with short and long breaks, 25/5 or the lengths you choose.
• Journey: a long day in hour-long blocks with breaks, up to 8 hours.
• Countdown and stopwatch, and a subject tag on every block.

Exam countdowns, goals and streaks
• An exam date and a weekly goal per subject: Focus counts down and reminds you.
• A daily goal, a streak, break days that don't break it, and your week in review every Monday.
• Home screen widgets: Today, Streak, This week, Month, Subjects, Last 7 days.

Study with friends, no account needed
• Add a friend with a six-letter code: no email, no sign-up.
• Study together: everyone's block ends at the same moment, live or planned for later.
• Groups with leaderboards, weekly goals, streaks and competitions.

Brown noise and focus sounds, offline
Velvet brown noise, soft rain, 10 Hz alpha waves, ocean shore, warm pads, singing bowls and a fireplace, softened to stay easy on the ears for hours. Mix two, or import your own study music (MP3, M4A, WAV).

A study tracker that keeps you going
Time by day, week, month and year, your best hours, time by subject, a page of widgets you arrange yourself, and session ratings that show which block length, time of day and sounds work for you. Backup to an encrypted file, or daily to Google Drive (Premium).

Less on screen, by design
Ten themes with day and night looks, a clean mode that leaves only the timer, color vision modes, high contrast, larger text, an easier-to-read font and reduced motion, for anyone who concentrates better with less going on, ADHD or not.

Private by design
Your sessions and stats never leave your phone. Friends shares only your nickname, this week's minutes and your streak.

What you get, and when
The Pomodoro timer, subjects, exam countdowns, streaks, friends, brown noise, widgets and your last 30 days of stats are free, with no pop-up ads. One short video a day starts a 24-hour pass to the app blocker, the focus guard, Focus++, every sound and Journeys up to 3 hours; new users get the pass for their first days. Focus Premium (monthly, yearly or lifetime) adds the rest for good, with no videos: Journeys up to 8 hours, the other nine themes, strict mode, your whole history, CSV export, daily Google Drive backup and unlimited imported tracks.
