FoodSave is an app that connects unsold or surplus food from supermarkets, restaurants and food businesses to customers at discounted prices in bundles

We have two types of bundles

1. Surprise bag

A Surprise Bag is a mix of unsold or surplus food chosen by the vendor. Each bag contains a unique mix of food, you won't know exactly what's inside until you open it! You pay about 1/3 of the cost of your surprise bag of delicious surplus food

2. Delivery package

Delivery Packages allow you to save larger quantities of surplus food items directly from food manufacturers. Unlike what you can save in a Surprise Bag, you know exactly whats inside, These items never made it to the retail chain for various reasons, e.g., outdated packaging, a mismatch between demand and supply, an approaching "Best before" date, etc. All items are always perfectly fit for consumption and can be stored at room temperature.


It is a food rescue and savings app designed to reduce food waste while helping people save money on quality meals and groceries. The app connects supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, and food vendors with consumers by allowing vendors to list surplus food, or unsold meals at highly discounted prices. Instead of throwing away perfectly good food, vendors can turn potential losses into revenue, while customers gain access to affordable food options within their location.

At its core, FoodSave addresses two major problems common in many cities, food wastage and food affordability. Large amounts of edible food are discarded daily due to approaching Best before dates, excess stock, or end-of-day unsold food. FoodSave provides a simple digital solution that bridges this gap by making surplus food visible and accessible to nearby users in real time. Customers can browse available items, place orders through the app, and receive delivery or pickup options depending on the vendor’s setup.
FoodSave is built with convenience and inclusivity in mind. Payments are handled through bank transfers, making the platform accessible to users who may not rely on cards or digital wallets.
