ACCESSIBILITY: OPTIONAL POINTER MODE
CalBoard uses Android's AccessibilityService API for Experimental Pointer Mode. After you accept the in-app disclosure and enable the service in Android Accessibility settings, your gestures control an on-screen pointer for taps, long clicks and drags. On Android 13 and later, Pointer + Scroll also uses temporary screen structure (window/node bounds, supported scroll actions and sensitivity flags) to scroll supported areas. Android grants screen-content access; this feature does not read text or descriptions, capture screenshots, or save or transmit that screen structure. Pointer Mode is off by default; normal typing does not require this permission. You can turn it off in CalBoard settings or disable the service in Android Accessibility settings. Support depends on your Android version and the target app.

PRIVACY
Translation sends requested text to MyMemory. Voice typing may use your device's recognition provider online. ML Kit may send operational diagnostics. See the privacy policy for local storage, Android backup, support email and data-deletion details.
