CPL: Production Logsheet

CPL (Coal Production Hourly Logsheet) replaces the paper logsheet and the spreadsheet behind it. The clerk taps each load in the pit, with signal or without, and the office sees production against plan while there is still shift left to do something about it.

In the pit
One tap records a load: per truck, per hour, against the unit loading it and the material it carries. CPL works out the BCM from your site's own factors. With no signal it keeps working. Every tap is saved on the phone and sent when the connection comes back.

In the office
Plan, actual, variance and achievement, hour by hour. Each loading unit's pace against its target. What is standing right now, why, and for how long. The tally clerk, the shift supervisor and the mine manager each get a board made for their job.

Machines, downtime and diesel
Opening and closing hour meters for every machine. Availability and utilisation by machine class. Every stop logged with its cause and the BCM it cost. Diesel issued, in litres per machine hour and per BCM.

End of shift
Shifts follow the clock: Day from 06:00 to 18:00, Night from 18:00 to 06:00. Closing readings are taken at hand-over and a supervisor approves the shift. Reports go out as a PDF, a Word file or a picture, the hourly report copies straight into WhatsApp, and the month's tracker shows every day against plan.

Your data
People see only the sites and functions their role allows. Every figure keeps a history of who entered it and who changed it. There is no advertising and no tracking, and CPL does not read your location, contacts or photos.
