Lapstorm: Orbit Roguelite

Lapstorm is a one-thumb orbit roguelite. Your comet circles a hostile star. Hold anywhere to dive inward, release to drift back out. That is the whole control scheme, and it is the whole strategy.

DIVE FOR POWER
The closer you orbit, the harder your weapons hit and the faster you finish each lap. But the star's corona burns your hull, and the inner lanes are where enemies crowd. Ride the edge of danger, or play it safe on the outer ring.

A NEW POWER EVERY LAP
Cross the lap line and pick 1 of 3 random abilities. Build a loadout of up to 8 powers and level each one to 5:
- Bolt, Scatter and homing Seekers
- Nova pulses, orbiting Shards and a burning Ember Trail
- Chain lightning, Star mines and the Lance beam
- Frost aura, Shield, Repair drones, Magnet, Overclock, Crit lens and Thruster

ENEMIES THAT HARDEN
Enemies orbit the other way. Every lap they survive, they get tougher and faster, and after four laps they turn Hardened. Clear them fast or watch the storm build.

THREE STARS, THREE BOSSES
Fight through the Red Dwarf, the Blue Giant and the Neutron Star. Each sector has six waves and a boss with its own attack pattern.

PROGRESS BETWEEN RUNS
Kills drop stardust. Spend it to unlock new abilities and buy permanent upgrades: a tougher hull, a wider magnet and free draft rerolls.
