Static Wave

Radio, everywhere.

Static Wave is a fast, simple internet radio player. Search more than 45,000 live stations from over 200 countries, press play, and listen. No account, no signup, no ads.

FIND SOMETHING WORTH HEARING
Search by station name, or browse by genre, country and language. Filter to HD streams when audio quality matters. Sort results by popularity, by what's trending today, or by name.

TUNED TO YOUR TASTE
Pick a few genres and a country when you first open the app, and Static Wave suggests stations to match. Your recently played stations stay one tap away, so getting back to something you liked takes a second.

SAVE WHAT YOU LOVE
Tap the heart to save any station. Your favourites are stored on your device and are there the moment you open the app, with nothing to sign into.

KEEPS PLAYING
Audio continues when you lock your phone or switch apps, with play and pause available from your lock screen. Set a sleep timer between 15 and 90 minutes and playback stops when the time is up.

LIGHT AND DARK
Both themes are fully built, so the app matches how you actually use your phone.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
Static Wave has no accounts and no server holding your data. Your favourites, listening history and settings never leave your device. We show no ads, sell nothing, and don't track what you listen to.

Station listings come from RadioBrowser, a free community-run directory, and audio streams directly from each broadcaster to your device. Neither we nor anyone else sits in the middle of that connection.

FREE
Every feature described here is available at no cost. This version contains no in-app purchases and no subscription.

Static Wave is a player, not a broadcaster. Stations are operated independently and we don't control what they broadcast or whether they stay online.
