About SizeScope: Height Comparison
SizeScope is a height comparison app that lines up people and things side by side on one baseline, with heights exactly to scale in centimeters or feet and inches. How tall are you next to your partner, a giraffe or the Eiffel Tower? See the answer in a picture.
How it works
No camera needed, just type the height. Add people or choose things from the library, see the difference and share the picture.
Height comparison, truly to scale
• Build a height comparison chart with a ruler that adjusts as you zoom.
• Pinch to zoom and drag to pan, from a 6 cm hamster to an 828 m skyscraper. One tap fits the whole scene on screen.
• Each figure has a name and size label, shown in metric and imperial units when space allows.
People, your way
• Choose silhouettes for men, women, boys, girls, babies or a neutral person.
• Type heights in cm, m or feet and inches and switch units in the editor.
• Pick colors, rename and reorder figures, or undo a removal.
• Save your height once and add “Me” with a tap.
• Select two figures to see the height difference in both unit systems, plus a percentage or ratio. The group also shows its tallest, shortest and average height.
A library of things to compare
• More than 75 ready-made references on Earth: animals, dog breeds, landmarks, buildings, everyday objects and prehistoric animals.
• Add a giraffe, a cat, the Burj Khalifa, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a door or a T. rex. Search by name, kind or place, or browse categories.
• Reference labels explain the value used, such as hip height for a dinosaur.
Space mode
Explore a planet size comparison by diameter: Earth beside Jupiter or the Moon beside Pluto. Then try a star size comparison with the Sun, Betelgeuse and VY Canis Majoris. Planets, dwarf planets, moons and stars have their own library and the same zoom controls.
Share the picture
Make a size comparison picture as a PNG in portrait, square, story or widescreen format. Choose a light or dark background, add an optional title and turn the watermark on or off. Save the image to your gallery or share it through the app you choose.
Your comparisons, saved
Keep separate scenes for friends, pets, teams or projects, then rename, duplicate or delete them. Light and dark themes, large-text support and screen-reader labels help you use the editor comfortably.
Ideas for your next height comparison
Show the height difference between couples. Settle “who is taller?” among friends by putting everyone side by side. Build a character height chart for your original or fandom characters using names and heights you enter. Create an animal size comparison or dinosaur size comparison for a school project. Turn a scene into a picture for a social post.
Private by design
SizeScope is free and works offline, with no account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. The app has no internet permission. Comparisons, your saved height and settings are stored on your device; Android may include them in backups if enabled. Exported images are saved or shared only when you choose to do so.
Library sizes are typical values for illustration; real people, animals and objects vary. Heights and space diameters are proportional; figure widths are stylized.
