Luxwise: Lux & Light Logger

Luxwise measures light honestly. Every reading comes with its ± error band, a clear "not calibrated" warning until you calibrate, and the source it came from — so you always know how far to trust the number.

ON ANDROID
Luxwise reads your phone's ambient light sensor directly, at its fastest rate while you measure, and keeps logging with the screen off (a notification shows while it runs) — for all-day greenhouse, solar or workplace logs. The achieved sample rate is recorded with every log.

LIVE METER
• Lux or foot-candles, with the ± band right next to the number
• 60-second live chart, average, minimum and maximum
• Colour temperature in kelvin with warm / neutral / cool (approximate)
• Optional noise smoothing: moving average or Kalman filter

CALIBRATION
• Lux = raw × factor + offset, one profile per phone and reference meter
• Guided one- or two-point calibration beside a reference meter
• The active profile and its date are printed on every export

LOGGING
• Log every 100 ms, 1 s, 10 s or 1 min
• CSV export with the calibration in the header (Pro)

ROOM SURVEY (Pro)
• Enter the room size: Luxwise lays out the measuring grid (EN 12464-1 cell size) and guides you point by point
• Average, minimum, maximum and uniformity U₀ = Emin / Eavg, with a heat map
• Compared with reference values commonly cited from EN 12464-1:2021 (for example offices 500 lx, U₀ 0.60) — a guide, never a certification

PDF INSPECTION REPORT (Pro)
• Project, site, address, optional location, inspector, your company logo and notes
• Results, heat map, charts, a table of every point and a signature line
• States how the readings were taken and how uncertain they are — no fake "certified" stamps

PLANT MODE (Pro)
• PPFD and daily light integral (DLI) estimated from lux for sunlight, white LED, fluorescent, HPS, metal halide and red/blue grow lights

Readings, logs, surveys and reports stay on your phone. No account. No analytics or tracking SDKs — the only third-party code is Google AdMob for ads in the free version, shown after you choose your consent. Pro removes the ads.
