About SeniorMed: Pill Reminder

SeniorMed is a simple, offline medication reminder and health companion designed for older adults and for family members who care for them. Large text, high-contrast colours and big tap targets make every screen easy to read and easy to use.

Everything you save stays on your own phone. There is no account to create, no password to remember and no sign-up.

MEDICATION REMINDERS
• Add each medicine with its dose, unit (tablet, mg, mL, drop) and instructions
• Set several reminder times per day for the same medicine
• Flexible schedules: every day, every other day, every X days, chosen weekdays, or as needed
• Choose from 10 alarm tones, or a silent notification
• Reminders keep working after your phone restarts
• Mark each dose as Taken or Skipped straight from the notification
• See a clear daily plan grouped by morning, afternoon, evening and night

PILL COUNT AND REFILLS
• Record how many pills you have left
• The remaining count goes down automatically each time you take a dose
• Set a low-stock threshold and get told when it is time to reorder
• SeniorMed estimates the date you will run out

HEALTH DIARY
• Log blood pressure, blood sugar, weight and heart rate
• BMI is worked out automatically from your height and latest weight
• Full history by measurement type

MEDICAL NOTES AND DOCUMENTS
• Keep prescriptions, lab results, imaging reports, doctor visits and notes in one place
• Attach photos of prescriptions, medicine boxes or test results
• Pin important notes to the top and tag them by priority
• Link a note to a doctor or to one of your medicines
• Set a reminder for an upcoming appointment

EMERGENCY CONTACTS AND SOS
• Save family members, carers and doctors with their photo and relationship
• One large button dials your primary contact
• The SOS button opens your messaging app with every contact and the message ready — you tap send
• Optionally include a Google Maps link to your location in that message
• Import a contact from your phone book

WORKS OFFLINE
Apart from showing adverts, SeniorMed needs no internet connection. Reminders, notes and health records all work in flight mode.

ADVERTS
SeniorMed is free and shows one small, non-personalised banner advert (Google AdMob), never over a reminder or an emergency button. A one-time Remove Ads purchase in Settings switches it off for good; Restore Purchases brings that back on a new phone.

PERMISSIONS AND WHY THEY ARE ASKED FOR
• Notifications and exact alarms — so a reminder arrives at the minute a dose is due
• Contacts — only when you choose to import an emergency contact from your phone book
• Location — only when you send an SOS message and choose to include your position
• Camera and photos — only when you attach a picture to a note
SeniorMed never asks for permission to send messages or place calls: those buttons hand the message or number to your own apps. Every other permission is asked for only when you first use the feature, and the app keeps working if you say no.
