Quran Discovery: Verse Finder

A Quran app with translation and tafsir that finds verses two ways: from a recitation you hear, or from what you are going through. Heard a murottal and wondered which verse it was? Looking for comforting verses about anxiety or grief? Quran Discovery takes you to the verse, its translation and tafsir. No account, no ads.

In the mosque, at a lecture, memorizing at home or facing something difficult, Quran Discovery helps you read and understand the Quran.

🎙️ IDENTIFY A VERSE FROM ITS RECITATION
• Tap "Find a verse" and recite, or hold your phone near the recitation
• Listening stops by itself when the reciter pauses
• Listen nearby finds verses within a sermon or khutbah
• You can also pick an audio or video file you already have
• Choose "Read this verse" to open it in the full reader

🔍 FIND QURAN VERSES BY TOPIC OR FEELING
• Type how you feel or a topic in English or Indonesian, such as "verses about patience", "anxious about the future", "debt" or "patient wife"
• 34 curated and reviewed themes: anxiety, grief, illness, debt, marriage, family conflict, raising children, forgiveness, feeling far from Allah and more
• The answer shows first: the verse, its translation, a tafsir excerpt and the surrounding verses
• When a search needs more detail, the app suggests related themes or spelling fixes
• No generative AI: verse text, translation and tafsir come from verified sources

👨‍👩‍👧 READING GUIDES FOR FAMILY SITUATIONS
• 24 guides for situations such as grieving a family loss, conflict between spouses, relationships with parents, raising children, hoping for a child, keeping family ties and being hurt by others
• Each guide gives a sequence of verses, their context and the limits of how they apply

🔒 PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
Recognition and search run on your phone. Audio is never uploaded or stored, and what you type is not sent to a server. No sign-up, no account, no tracking. The recognition model and translations download once; after that the Quran works offline.

⚡ QUICK ACCESS & COMFORTABLE READING
Start listening from the home-screen widget, app icon shortcuts or the Quick Settings tile. Light, dark or automatic theme, a reduce-motion option, and the app in English, Indonesian, Arabic, Bengali and Urdu.

🤲 VOLUNTARY SEDEKAH
Quran Discovery has no ads and no locked features. If you would like to support it, one-time or monthly Sedekah Rutin is available through Google Play; Sedekah Rutin only adds app colour, icon and widget choices.

✨ GREAT FOR
• Identifying verses in a murottal, prayer or khutbah
• Finding Quran verses about patience, trust in Allah, provision and peace of heart
• Tilawah, tadarus and hifz (Quran memorization) practice
• Students, teachers, study circles, new Muslims and anyone who wants to understand the Quran

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE
Verse recognition is experimental; results are shown as possible matches, so always check them against the mushaf. Search and guides help you find relevant verses; they do not replace a fatwa, a scholar's advice or professional help.

Quran Discovery: listen, discover, understand.
