Hadith Discovery: Check Hadith

Check a hadith you received on WhatsApp or social media: paste the text and see which collection it comes from, its number, the edition and who graded it. Hadith Discovery helps you read before you forward. Works offline, no account, no ads.

Built for Muslims who want to verify before sharing, students of Islamic studies and of knowledge, teachers, imams preparing a short talk, and anyone curious where a quote really comes from.

🔎 HADITH CHECKER
Paste the text, share it straight from WhatsApp, or select text anywhere and tap "Check hadith" from the copy menu. The app searches the bundled Arabic text and tells you plainly: found in the collection, similar wording, several possible narrations, cited source does not match, or not found.

"Not found" never means fake hadith: it may be in a book that is not included yet. The app never labels a hadith fake or weak on its own.

📚 SOURCE, NUMBER, EDITION AND GRADING
Every result shows the collection, hadith number and the edition it belongs to, so you can trace it yourself. Where a grading is shown (sahih, hasan, da'if), it is quoted with the name of the scholar or source that made it. The app never grades hadith on its own.

💬 HADITH BY TOPIC FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
Describe what you are facing in everyday words, such as getting angry easily, guarding your tongue, low motivation for worship or honouring your parents, and get possibly relevant hadith with their meaning and explanation. 28 themes, from anger and anxiety to provision, debt, family ties and good character. Results are for reflection, not a fatwa.

📖 HADITH COLLECTIONS
1,347 hadith in 9 collections: 40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi (Arba'in, 42 hadith), 40 Hadith Qudsi, and selections from Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nasa'i, Sunan Ibn Majah and Muwatta Malik. Search inside a book by hadith number or by a word in Arabic, English or Indonesian.

🌐 MEANING, EXPLANATION AND BENEFITS
Translations, short explanations and benefits come from HadeethEnc.com and are shown unchanged, in English and Indonesian. Arabic text comes from verified sources, with no generative AI.

🎙️ LISTEN AND CHECK
Recognise an Arabic hadith quote from a talk or video on your phone. Download the Arabic speech model once, then recognition runs on the device without an internet connection. Audio is not saved or uploaded. You can edit the recognised text before checking its source.

📱 DAILY HADITH & WIDGETS
Hadith of the day with its meaning, a shortcut widget to check a hadith quote, and a daily hadith reminder.

🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your text is processed on your phone and not uploaded. Reading and searching work offline. The optional speech feature needs a one-time model download; recognition then runs offline.

✨ COMFORTABLE TO READ
Clear Arabic font, adjustable Arabic text size, dark theme, and an English or Indonesian interface.

🤲 VOLUNTARY SEDEKAH
Hadith Discovery has no ads and no locked features. If you would like to support it, one-time or monthly Sedekah Rutin is available through Google Play; Sedekah Rutin only adds app colour, icon and widget choices.
