About Local/Remote Deep Link Sender

Android developers may sometimes need to test deeplinks from another app - and this app helps to simulate that user journey.

Users of Wear OS by Google, including developers, may sometimes also need to open deeplinks on the Wear device - for example, opening a specific Wear app's Play Store page - but such capability on Wear has been limited. It is also painful to type on Wear even if there is one Wear app for sending deeplinks.
Therefore, we allow you to also send deeplinks remotely from your phone to all connected Wear OS devices (see guide below on how to).

For sending remote deeplinks to the watches, note that:
1. Your phone must be running Android P or higher
2. Your watch must be running Wear OS by Google 2.0 or higher
3. Your watch needs to be connected to your phone when you launch this app (check your Wear companion app to see the connection status)
4. Your watch's display needs to be on when the remote deeplinks are issued
5. If the "Send to Connected Watches" button is grayed out, it means the app has not detected any connected Wearable devices. If a wear device is newly connected, relaunch the app.

Notes:

Due to new package manager visibility limitations, apps may no longer be able to detect whether the deeplink is resolvable by querying package manager.

Therefore, this app simply issues the deeplink - if you see your link being resolved by the browser alone, most likely it means no apps on your device is capable to resolve the provided link.
