Flow Search puts a customisable search bar on your home screen and lets you decide how it looks and what it does. Choose the colour, size, style and buttons, then search the web, your apps, contacts and files from that one bar.

If your Google search bar went missing, or you never liked the one your launcher gave you, this is a replacement you control.

🌐 13 Search Engines: Google, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Brave Search, Ecosia, Qwant, Swisscows, MetaGer, Mojeek, Baidu, Yandex and Yahoo.jp. Switch engine in a tap, or set a prefix to reach one directly.

🕒 Recent Apps and Suggestions: Add a row of recently used apps under the bar, with app suggestions and search history as you type.

Permissions and privacy

Your settings, widgets and search history stay on your device. Flow Search shows ads and uses Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. There are no accounts and no sign in. Search suggestions come from Google Suggest and can be switched off.

Permissions are requested only when you add a button that needs one. Never add the Screen Record button and the app never asks for screen capture.

Accessibility Service disclosure: Buttons such as Lock Screen, Power Menu, Screenshot, Recents, Notifications and Quick Settings use Android's Accessibility API, because Android provides no other way to perform them. Flow Search uses it only to run the action you tap. It does not read, collect or share screen content, anything you type, or any personal data, and you can turn it off at any time.

Widget transparency and blur depend on your launcher and Android version, and some device controls are unavailable on certain manufacturers' software.
