Medical scans come in the DICOM format (.dcm), which most phones, chat apps, and document tools cannot open. DICOM Converter opens them and saves them as regular images you can actually use: attach to an email, drop into a document, print, or send to a colleague.

EXPORTS CONTAIN NO PATIENT DATA
DICOM files carry patient names, birth dates, and hospital details inside them. A converted JPEG or PNG contains only the image — none of that embedded information travels with it.

• Browse every tag in a file: tag number, name, value representation, and value
• Search by tag name, tag number, or value
• Export the full tag dump as a .txt or .csv file
• Look up any tag in the built-in DICOM dictionary, which works offline

WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
Your files are read and converted on your device. They are never uploaded to a server, and the app does not need an internet connection to convert anything. The app collects anonymous usage statistics (which features get used) to guide development — never your files, file names, images, or any patient information.
