About Oryn: Habit & Goal Tracker
Oryn is a free habit tracker and daily planner with a yearly heatmap, streaks and a home screen widget. Plan the day,
tick habits off, and watch a whole year of consistency fill in square by square.
Most routine planner apps interrupt you with video ads or lock the basics behind a paywall. Oryn does neither.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Track habits your way — Create customisable habits, pick any combination of days, and check them off in one tap.
• See a yearly heatmap — Every day you showed up, as one square. A full year on a single screen, the way a
contribution graph works.
• Compare week to week — Weekly comparison puts this week against the last, so a bad patch shows up before it becomes
a bad month.
• Plan the week ahead — The weekly planner lays out what is coming and reshuffles when the day goes sideways.
• Set goals with milestones — Break a big goal into steps and track progress separately from daily habits.
• Use the home screen widget — Mark habits complete from your home screen without opening the app.
• Get reminders — A timed nudge per habit, so one missed day does not turn into a missed week.
• Switch to dark theme — Dark and light, for late-night planning or a 6 a.m. start.
WHY THE HEATMAP MATTERS
A streak counter tells you about today. The yearly heatmap tells you about the year. Twelve months of squares makes a
gap impossible to argue with, and that is what keeps people opening a habit tracker after week two. Weekly comparison
sits underneath it for the shorter view.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add a habit and choose the days you want it on.
2. Check it off. The streak and the heatmap update themselves.
3. Read the weekly comparison on Sunday to see where consistency actually broke.
WHAT PEOPLE TRACK WITH ORYN
Morning routine: wake time, water, workout, journal, in the order that suits you.
Gym and workout consistency: mark training days and see the weekly count instead of guessing.
Study and exam prep: block subjects across the week and track the hours.
Reading: pages or minutes a day.
Water intake and sleep timing: the small daily habits that are easiest to drop first.
Quitting something: the days you did not do the thing count the same way.
MORE INSIDE
Calendar view for every completed and missed day of the month.
A dashboard you arrange yourself, with six cards you can drag into any order.
Daily checklist for today's tasks, with nothing else competing for attention.
Monthly progress reports you can hold against last month.
ANALYTICS AND CONSISTENCY
Completion rate, streak history and consistency scores across weeks and months.
Group habits into categories so health, study and work do not blur into one list.
Missed days stay visible rather than being quietly hidden. The pattern is the point, not a perfect record.
FREE, WITH NO ADS
No banner ads. No video ads between taps. No countdown before you can add a habit.
