HoraCat - Hora en Català

It's quarter past eleven in the morning. Five minutes to a quarter to ten. It's half past one.

HoraCat tells you the time as it has always been said in Catalan: with the quarter system. A unique way in the world to read the clock that is worth keeping alive — and always having in your pocket.

Three ways to read the time
• Quarter time: the usual way ("it's a quarter past nine in the evening")
• Traditional time: the oldest variant, with "tocades", "pasades" and "ben tocades"
• Numerical time: the quarter system in compact format ("2/4 of 9")

Widget for the home screen
Put the time in Catalan on your home screen, always up to date. You can configure it to your liking:
• Dynamic background that changes with the time of day (morning, noon, afternoon, evening, night and dawn) or transparent background on your wallpaper
• Choose the type of time you want to display
• Adapts to the size: from small widgets to large ones with analog clock

And inside the app
• Analog clock with the time written in letters
• Colors that accompany the day: from the blues of the morning to the yellows of the afternoon
• Tap the time and hear it aloud

Perfect for those who want to learn the quarter system, for those who teach Catalan, and for those who simply want to read "it's a quarter past twelve" instead of 11:22.

No registration, no account, no complications. Open it and you know what time it is in Catalan.
