While you sleep, the phone keeps a short clip only when something is louder than the room. Clips are sorted into snoring, talking and other, and you can correct the label. In the morning, see the night on a timeline, play clips back, share or star them, and check total snoring time and the share of quiet time. By default it waits while this app's sounds play, so waves aren't recorded as noises.

See snoring over the last 7 nights, log caffeine, alcohol, exercise and more, and compare snoring on nights with and without each.

In as the circle grows, out as it shrinks: Relax 4-6, 4-7-8, Box 4-4-4-4, Even 5.5-5.5, Long exhale 4-8, Brisk 3-3 or your own seconds, with cue sounds and vibration so you can close your eyes.

■ Meditation timer (Premium)
3 to 60 minutes or open-ended, with a singing bowl, chime, temple bell or wood block at the start, at intervals and at the end. Bells ring on time with the screen off. A streak and a 7-day chart track your practice.

The microphone is used only when you start a sleep recording yourself. Analysis and storage happen on your phone. Recordings are never sent to us or to third parties and are not included in Google's cloud backup. Playback and sleep recording work without an internet connection.

This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Snoring/talking labels are estimates and can be wrong. Phone speakers struggle with low sounds, so brown noise and thunder sound fuller through earphones or a speaker.
