Prosfora: Orthodox Prayers

A daily prayer companion built properly for Orthodox Christians — the Church's own texts, nothing invented. No ads, no account.

• Your daily prayer rule — morning and evening prayers assembled from the canonical texts (the Trisagion prayers, Psalm 50, the Creed, the prayers of the Fathers), in 5-, 10-, or 20-minute forms. Bring it to your priest for a blessing; the app is built around that.
• The fasting calendar, done right — every day's fasting level with a plain-language explanation, on BOTH the Old (Julian) and New (Revised Julian) calendars, jurisdiction-aware: GOARCH, OCA, Antiochian, ROCOR, Serbian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Georgian, Ukrainian and more.
• Saints of the day with short lives; every great feast, movable and fixed, computed by the Church's own Paschalion.
• Prepare rightly — guided self-examination before confession, the pre-communion prayers and fasting rules, thanksgiving afterward.
• The Jesus Prayer rope — 33 and 100 knots, with gentle haptics.
• Prayer bells — a quiet reminder at the hours you choose for morning and evening prayer.
• Fall asleep to the Psalms and the prayers before sleep instead of a feed.
• Learn the practice without shame — short lessons for converts, catechumens and the returning: why we fast, how to make a prostration, how to prepare for confession.

Private by design. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your prayer history, rule and confession preparation stay on your phone; you can export them or delete everything at any time in Settings.

Every prayer and every feature is free. The sacred text is never behind glass.

Prosfora is an independent app and is not an official publication of any Orthodox jurisdiction. Always follow the guidance of your own priest and parish calendar.
