MoodReads: Romantasy TBR

the only book app built for romantasy readers.

fantasy romance (and adjacent) books tagged across 45+ fields. content ratings. tropes. mood. content warnings. emotional weight. audiobook info. everything you want to know before you open to page one.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• search by content rating (closed door to open door)
• filter by trope, mood, vibe, dynamic, archetype, creature, world type
• find books by emotional payoff (book hangover, the swoon, addictive read)
• match by when and where you want to read (cozy evening, rainy weekend, vacation)
• see content warnings sorted by severity before you commit
• import your TBR from Goodreads, StoryGraph, or a Google Sheet
• organize your shelves and reading status
• join pacts and covens (reading buddy groups) with chat
• try BookMatch - tell it the trope, the vibe, the season, or "give me an Aelin" and get exact matches

BUILT FOR ROMANTASY SPECIFICALLY

most book apps treat romantasy as a footnote of romance or fantasy. MoodReads treats it as its own genre, with the metadata depth to match.

content depth. character archetypes. world types. fantasy creatures. it's all there.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
• romantasy-first, not romance-with-fae or fantasy-with-kissing
• every book editorially reviewed, not crowdsourced chaos
• reader-funded. no ads, no data selling, no investors or corporate overlords
• built by a romantasy reader who scrolled her TBR like Netflix and finally did something about it

PREMIUM

free forever for the core product (browse, search, shelves, TBR, browser extension).

premium unlocks BookMatch, the enhanced Goodreads + AO3 browser extension overlay, full reading stats (super pretty), unlimited shelves, share cards, and every future feature. (i've got some fun things planned.)
