About Star Points Card

"Brush your teeth!" "Did you do it already?"
Let's end the daily battles — with points.

Star Points turns "things I want them to do" into points
to spark motivation and build lasting habits as a family.

■ Sound familiar?
- Nagging about teeth-brushing and tidy-up, every single day
- Help requests met with unhappy faces
- Paper sticker charts and allowance books abandoned in three days
- You wish they'd try harder — but how?

Star Points gives daily habits and chores a "point"
so kids start moving on their own.

■ How it works (3 steps)
1. Parent registers tasks (e.g., Brush teeth 3pt / Clean bath 20pt)
2. Kid taps "I did it!" to submit completion
3. Parent approves → points are earned → swap for rewards

■ Why kids keep going
- Points add up visibly — a real sense of achievement
- "I did it!" gets acknowledged by a parent
- They aim for rewards they chose themselves
- Each sibling has their own tasks and points (up to 5 kids)

■ Why parents have it easier
- Less "you have to be told" friction
- Asking for help becomes easier
- Effort is visible at a glance
- Each approval is a chance to praise and chat

■ Main features
- Recurring tasks (daily / weekly) and one-off tasks
- Reusable task templates for common chores
- Reward registration and approval flow
- One-tap switch between parent and child modes
- History view to look back at progress

■ Best for families with
- Kids from kindergarten to middle elementary school
- Two working parents and busy weekdays
- Paper charts and allowance books that didn't last
- Multiple siblings

■ Designed with peace of mind
- No email registration — start in seconds (link an email later)
- Kids see no purchase prompts
- Data is stored in the cloud — safe across device changes (with email linking)

■ Free to start
Begin with just three tasks. Build a new family habit today.

What’s new

Version 1.3.0 · Updated August 31, 2026

Introducing Goals - bigger milestones your family sets together, separate from everyday tasks. Add a goal and its reward points for each child from the Children tab. Kids report "I did it!" from the new Goals tab, and once you approve it the points are awarded at once with a trophy on the card. Requests and approvals are sent to your family's other devices as notifications. This update also includes minor bug fixes.
