Vox Populi

VOX POPULI, the Simulated Republic

You start as a simple member of parliament in a constituency. It's up to you to make a name for yourself, take the helm of your party, win the legislative elections and then the presidential election, and govern.

Write your laws
Type your text as you would say it: "increase the minimum wage to €1,800," "abolish the Senate," "introduce the Citizens' Initiative Referendum (RIC)." The game estimates the cost, each parliamentary group votes according to its position, and a law can change the institutions themselves: number of members of parliament, Senate, Article 49.3, referendum.

577 constituencies
The real map of France, with live election night coverage, constituency by constituency, and polls that follow the same calculations as the actual vote.

Governing
Once in power, the Power tab groups six areas: economy and budget, ministries, government, regions, crises, and diplomacy.

The Life of a Party
Activists, fundraising, rallying of MPs, written debates against other party leaders, press, scandals, and integrity. Three games can progress in parallel.

Expansions
Constituent Assembly (free): Sixth Republic, citizens' assembly chosen by lot, recall referendum.
Kingdom: constitutional or absolute monarchy.
Eurozone: play in Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, or Belgium, with their institutions and invented parties.

Optional "Shadow Cabinet" subscription: the Agora (detailed barometer, debates, stock market), the 7-day time skip, and the "Live Laws" option.

The game works offline and is ad-free. Only the optional "Live Laws" option sends the laws you write to an analysis service, after you give your consent.

Fiction game: parties, personalities, and situations are invented.
