About CAA Brasileiro BLA

CAA Brasileiro BLA is a communication app using cards in Brazilian Portuguese. You tap cards to form a sentence or to speak words on the spot, and the device speaks with the local voice, without internet access.

For those who communicate better by touch than by speaking. For those who are learning to speak. For those who are currently voiceless. And for caregivers.

IN THE PERSON'S OWN WAY
ARASAAC pictograms for those who cannot yet read to recognize the word by the drawing. Core strip with high-frequency words always in the same position, the way the memory learns. Adjustable grid and optional high contrast.

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T TOUCH THE SCREEN
Scan by trigger: the highlight moves through the cards automatically and a touch anywhere selects. Works with an external trigger that emulates touch. Designed for those with motor difficulties who cannot aim.

ASSEMBLE AND SPEAK
Tap cards in sequence to compose a sentence, or use the green border shortcuts that speak directly. The phrase is saved even if you exit the app mid-way. The history saves what you've already said, so you can repeat it without rewriting. And the "Show to person" feature displays the phrase in large letters on the full screen, for when your voice isn't enough.

Print the card to have the cards on hand, by category or as a whole.

ACCESSIBILITY AT THE CENTER
A light vibration confirms the touch. The Clear button requires a long press to avoid accidentally deleting the phrase. Focus mode hides the caregiver tab so the child can use it alone. Works with TalkBack.

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Works offline to speak and construct phrases. No login, no registration, no ads, no tracking. What you save stays on your device.
