About StrataVault
StrataVault is a notes and knowledge-management app that keeps everything organised the way your work actually is — not everything dumped into one flat list.
STRUCTURE THAT SCALES
• Vaults → Collections → Projects → Notes: a real hierarchy for organising anything from a single personal journal to years of client work
• Markdown notes, code notes with syntax highlighting, voice notes, and attached photos or files
• A timeline view across a Vault, Collection or Project so you can see what changed and when
• A home-screen widget for capturing a note in seconds
YOUR CHOICE OF ENCRYPTION
• Turn end-to-end encryption on for a single note, or for a whole Project, Collection or Vault — nothing is encrypted unless you choose to
• When it's on, the note's body, title and attachments are all stored as ciphertext, using a key derived from your own master password. We never see it and can't recover it if you lose it (a recovery phrase is provided at setup)
• Sync directly to your own cloud storage (e.g. Nextcloud), or use our own-hosted storage if you'd rather not run your own
OPTIONAL AI ACTIONS
Bring your own API key (Gemini, Claude, or a self-hosted OpenAI-compatible endpoint like Ollama) to summarise or work with a note's content. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you invoke it and confirm — your key, your provider, your data.
CROSS-PLATFORM
Android and Linux, both built and maintained by the same small team.
StrataVault is free, supported by a small non-intrusive banner ad. Built and operated by Sentrixa Systems Ltd, a UK company.
