About AF Rounds
Every asset in your building, pinned on a floor plan you drew. Every check it needs, on the day it is due. Every round, walked point by point.
AF Rounds is an offline record-keeping tool for the people who walk buildings: caretakers, site managers and facilities teams.
THE PLAN IS THE INDEX
Draw each floor as rectangles, name the zones, then pin the assets where they are: the fire alarm panel, the call points, the emergency lights, the fire doors, the hot and cold outlets, the calorifier, the boiler, the meters. The plan fills the screen. Floors sit in a strip on the right. Tap a pin and the asset opens in a sheet over the plan, with its next check and one button to tick it.
THE FREQUENCIES ARE YOURS
For fifteen asset types the app offers typical checks and typical intervals, and says that they are typical. You choose what you run and how often. Due dates, tolerance windows and overdue states follow from your choice. Every planner screen carries the line: Typical intervals. Your building's regime and the regulations apply.
AN HONEST TRAFFIC LIGHT
The bar at the top shows the building's state and the counts behind it. Green means nothing overdue and nothing due within 7 days. Amber means something is due soon, red means something is overdue, and the numbers are always printed beside the colour. There is no score that hides a number.
ROUNDS THAT WALK THE PLAN
Set the order of the points once. On the round, the sheet shows the current point and the plan shows where to walk next. Tick a check, enter a reading, or skip the point; a skipped point is recorded as skipped, never dropped. Type a hot-water temperature below the threshold and the sheet says so, with the rule printed, and offers to raise a fault on the spot. Weekly fire alarm tests rotate through the call points for you.
FAULTS ARE PINS
A fault is raised where it was found, with a priority, a note and a sketch drawn on the phone. It appears as a pin on the plan and in the faults list until it is closed.
READINGS BECOME TRENDS
Meter readings and temperatures are numbers with dates. The app draws consumption per interval and marks any interval that stands out, by a rule it prints beside the chart and that you can edit.
THE CALENDAR AND THE LOG
A month per building, each day marked done, due soon or overdue. The log keeps every finished round, every task and every fault with its history.
REPORTS
Assemble a report and copy it out as clean text, save it as a .txt or .csv file, or export the whole site file.
WHAT IS IN IT
• Sites, buildings, floors and zones, drawn on a grid
• Fifteen asset types with typical checks, all editable
• Rounds, faults, meters, temperatures, cleaning areas and contacts
• A planner, a calendar, a log and reports
• Ten rolling backups for each site
• Every plan, glyph, chart and calendar drawn by the app itself
WHAT IT IS NOT
• No internet. Nothing is downloaded, nothing is sent.
• No account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no streaks, no badges.
• Not a compliance certificate. The app records what you do; it does not decide what the law requires.
AF Rounds is an offline tool for keeping building records. It does not connect to the internet, it does not collect any data about you, and it contains no advertising and no purchases. Your sites are files on this phone. Copy them out with the Reports page or the Files app; delete them with the Erase button. Nothing is stored anywhere else. Typical intervals shown in the app are not legal advice; your building's regime and the regulations apply.
