Povestim: povești pentru copii

Classic stories and bedtime audio tales for children aged 2–8, read by Anca, a storyteller with a warm voice. Over 350 classic stories in Romanian and English, ad-free and screen-free, plus new stories in which your child is the hero.

You can start for free, without a subscription. With Standard, the first month is free.

Povestim makes your child's day an evening audio story in which he is the hero.

Write in a few words what he did today: "it was his first day at kindergarten", "he made up with a friend", "he was afraid of the dark". In about a minute you receive a new story, with his name, read by Anca, a storyteller with a warm voice, and the characters each have their own voice.

STORIES CREATED FOR YOUR CHILD (Premium and Family)
• Your child is the main character, and the story starts from what he or she experienced today
• Age-appropriate, from 2 to 8 years: words, length and rhythm
• Mom, dad, grandparents, siblings and friends can appear in the story, with their names
• You choose the tone (sleeping, with adventure or funny) and the duration: 3, 5 or 10 minutes
• Stories read with your voice or the grandparents' voice: Premium has a voice, Family up to 4
• "Good night" from grandparents, with their voice, at the end of the story (Family)

OVER 350 CLASSIC STORIES, IN ROMANIAN AND ENGLISH
Creangă, Ispirescu, Brothers Grimm, Andersen, Perrault, fables and legends, gently retold for young children: we keep the thread and characters that you know, but without violence and without scary scenes. All the classics can also be listened to in English, read by a native storyteller.

SERIES AND NEW STORIES
• Evening series by age, with new episodes on Mondays and Thursdays
• Every Monday and Thursday a new story appears on Povestim

THE ROAD TO THE CAR (Premium and Family)
Stories for the way to daycare, kindergarten or school, with riddles and games that the child answers out loud. It ends with the mission of the day. For each mission completed, he receives a star, and for every 5 stars the storyteller praises him in the next story and tells him why.

DESIGNED FOR THE EVENING
• No ads
• No screen: the child listens with their eyes closed
• Night light, automatic shutdown and sleep sounds
• Download the stories and listen to them without the internet
• Send the grandparents' story on WhatsApp, and with Family the grandparents listen on their phone
• The child's book in PDF, with his stories (Premium and Family)

FOR ALL CHILDREN AND PARENTS
It works with the screen reader (TalkBack) and with voice commands, it has a Grandparents Mode with larger text and buttons, and each story also has the full text written, for those who are hard of hearing.

WRITTEN WITH CARE
The stories are written according to strict rules for children: no violence, no fear, no bad words, with a warm ending. If you still don't think something is appropriate, you can report it from the app.
