Cava Reader: Audiobook & EPUB

Read, listen, or both at once.

Cava Reader is an ebook reader and audiobook player in one. Load an EPUB and its audiobook, and each word lights up as the narrator says it. Bring your own books, or start with free classics from the built-in public domain library.

READ ALONG
Read and listen together, with each word highlighted as it's spoken, like a read-aloud book. If you have ADHD or your mind tends to wander, the moving highlight keeps your place, so when you drift off you can find your way right back. Speech recognition runs on your device, there's no waiting for a book to sync, and it skips narrator intros and differences between editions.

LEARN A LANGUAGE
It's like turning on subtitles in a film: hearing and seeing every word at once makes a new language much easier to follow. Read along in about 30 languages. Cava detects your book's language and offers to download the right speech model. Slow the narration down while you learn, and speed it up as you improve. Learning English? The free classics are a ready-made place to start.

READ
An EPUB reader that looks the way you want. Choose your font, including the dyslexia-friendly OpenDyslexic, plus text size, spacing and theme. Swipe through pages or scroll. Search the book and save places with bookmarks and notes.
