Develop research that allows us to understand and better predict the pressures and impacts on the various components of the pelagic ecosystem, contributing to the sustainability and resilience of the fishing resources involved in the purse seine fishery, in accordance with the guidelines of the Common Fisheries Policy and the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, based on the principles of sustainability of fishing resources, revitalization of the biodiversity of the pelagic habitat and optimized exploitation considering the economic profitability of the sector.
