About Voice Recorder [Huawei Watch]

It is a phone companion app for Voice Recorder app which runs on Huawei Watch 3 smartwatches. This app allows to receive audio recording files from smartwatch and then play in the app and share further by system apps like email, upload to cloud or Bluetooth.

Before start:
• This application works only with Huawei Watch 3 (all versions)
• To use this app you have to download application for smartwatch called Voice Recorder from AppGallery or install it by Health app / AppGallery

The app gives you 2 methods to receive recording audio files: Wear Engine and MFT IP Tool. You can switch between them without any limits. Wear Engine is selected as default method, as it is officially supported engine by Huawei Harmony OS.

Troubleshooting:
⚠ If you can’t connect by Wear Engine make sure your watch is connected to phone by Bluetooth. Run Health app and check if you device has status Connected.

⚠ If you can’t connect by MFT IP Tools make sure your watch and phone are connected to the same Wifi network. Otherwise they will not see each other. Next check if ip address in watch settings for IP Tool corresponding with value in section ‘My IP’ on phone.
