About Narewka info

The Narewka.info project aims to promote the tourist attractions, natural attractions, and cultural heritage of the Narewka Commune. The initiative aims to disseminate knowledge about the region's history, traditions, borderland culture, and the most interesting places connected with the Białowieża Forest landscape.

The project also supports building local awareness and strengthening residents' identity by presenting the history, people, and events that contribute to the contemporary image of the commune.

Specific objectives

1. Promoting the tourist attractions and natural attractions of the Narewka Commune by developing and making available information materials and a digital tourist guide.

2. Disseminating knowledge about the history, culture, and heritage of the borderland by presenting monuments, historical sites, folk artists, and events related to the life of the local community.

3. Creating a modern information tool for residents and tourists, enabling easy access to information about the region.

As part of the project,

1. A tourist guide is being developed, presenting the most important places, historical sites, natural attractions, and cultural heritage of the Narewka Commune.

2. A guidebook is being prepared, presenting the history of the region, local artists, cultural events, and characteristic elements of borderland culture.

3. A digital knowledge base about the commune is being created, including descriptions of places, figures, objects, and events related to the history and contemporary life of the region.

4. Materials are being made available in the form of a mobile app and the Narewka.info website, enabling convenient access to information about the commune.

Summary
