About Cough Against TB
This application is an AI enabled screening tool for Pulmonary TB using solicited cough sounds, symptoms and comorbidities. Developed by Wadhwani AI, with guidance and support from the Central TB Division (CTD) and USAID supported Trace TB project, this is an easy-to-use, non-invasive, point-of-care screening tool that can be used by Healthcare Workers to screen individuals for Pulmonary TB and identify presumptive TB individuals who need further confirmatory diagnostic tests. Please note, this is only a screening tool and not a confirmatory diagnostic test. Individuals identified as ‘likely to have pulmonary TB’ or ‘Presumptive TB’ using the app will be recommended diagnostic tests for a confirmation.
