AçıkSilivri

AçıkSilivri is an independent monitoring platform that records each hearing day of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) trial, based on news reports from the courtroom and with source attribution. It transforms the defenses, cross-examinations, and indictment contents into a transparent and searchable digital archive.

LIVE HEARING STREAM
Recordings from the courtroom are instantly available on the application on hearing days. Who said what, at what time — all with a timestamp and source. The stream also shows when the hearing is adjourned, resumed, and when the day ends.

CROSS-EXAMINATIONS AND DEFENSES
Cross-examinations and question-and-answer sessions are presented as a readable transcript, rather than as individual boxed recordings. Consecutive statements by the same person are grouped under a single heading.

PERSONS
A person directory for defendants and lawyers. Each name is listed with their role and detention status; tapping on a name opens that person's profile.

DAILY SUMMARY
If you don't have time to read a long court hearing from beginning to end, the daily summary is prepared in sections.

NOTIFICATIONS
There are two types of notifications, and you can turn both on and off separately:
• Court hearing moments — when the hearing starts, is adjourned, resumes, and ends.
• Featured recordings — key moments selected by the editor.

Notifications are anonymous. You don't need to create an account, and no personal data is collected from your device.

OFFLINE READING
The court hearing day you are reading is saved to your device. You can continue reading from the last version when your connection is interrupted.

READING SETTINGS
You can adjust the font size and serif font to your liking.

SOURCES
Each recording is shown with information about which reporter reported it. You can go to the original post by tapping on the source.

AcikSilivri is independent, ad-free, and free. It is developed within the Cumhuriyet Bizim Platform.
