Invoices-offline POS

Invoice for Offline POS is the customer's half of a shop counter.

The shop bills you on Offline POS. Instead of a paper slip that fades in a pocket, the bill arrives on your phone — over Bluetooth, or by pointing your camera at the QR code on the shop's screen. It stays there, readable months later, with no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

It is also useful on the shopkeeper's own phone, as a second copy of every bill written at the till.


HOW A BILL REACHES YOU

• Over Bluetooth — the till sends it straight to this app from the counter. Nothing is scanned, nothing is typed.
• From the till on the same phone — if you run Offline POS yourself, every bill you write lands here at once, tagged "my own". No pairing, no scanning.
• By QR — tap "Scan a bill" and read the code on the shop's screen. The whole invoice is inside the code itself, so this works with no network of any kind: no Wi-Fi, no mobile data, no pairing.
• The same bill twice is recognised and not duplicated.

Each invoice is labelled with how it arrived, so you always know whether it came from the till itself, from your own till on this phone, or from a screen you scanned.


WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT

• Read the full bill — every line, quantity, discount, tax and total, laid out like the printed slip.
• Search by shop, bill number or item. Find a purchase from last March without scrolling.
• See what you have spent this month, added up for you.
• Print it — to a Bluetooth roll printer, or through Android's own print system to any printer the phone can reach.
• Save it as a PDF into your Downloads, or share it with any app on your phone.
• Delete any bill, or all of them, whenever you like.
• Day and night themes, switched with one tap.


BUILT TO WORK WITHOUT THE INTERNET

This app does not have the Android internet permission at all. Not "we choose not to send your data" — it is not able to open a connection to the internet. You can confirm this yourself: the permission list on this Play listing has no "full network access" line.

That has a few consequences worth knowing:

• There are no accounts, no sign-in and no profile.
• There is no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting.
• Your invoices are not uploaded, backed up to a cloud or synced anywhere. They live on this phone only.
• Nothing leaves the phone unless you press something that sends it — printing, sharing or saving a PDF — and then only to the place you chose.
• It works on a phone in aeroplane mode, in a shop with no Wi-Fi, in a village with no signal.

WHAT IT NEEDS

• Bluetooth — only to accept a bill from a till that is already paired with your phone. The app does not scan for devices, so Android never asks for your location.
• Camera — only to read an invoice QR code. Frames are decoded and dropped; no photo is taken or kept.

Both are asked for when you first use them, and the app still works if you refuse one — you simply keep the other way of receiving a bill.

Offline POS, the free point-of-sale app for small shops. The shopkeeper bills as usual and hands the invoice over; nothing extra to set up on either side.

This is a companion app. On its own it has no way to create an invoice from scratch — it receives them.
